How did you end up in South Louisiana?

“My wife and I met online when a glitch put us together mistaking LA = Los Angeles for LA = Louisiana!

If you would have asked me 5 years ago I would have said I’d be living in Austin or Sacramento.”

What drew you to the Physical Therapy field?

“ My mom passed away from complications with Multiple Sclerosis.

I think this experience and my karate background contributed to me not being afraid and wanting to understand physical dysfunction.”

What do you like about outpatient therapy?

“Therapy has to be a two-way street for patients to get the most out of our care.  I love the back and forth of that relationship, being able to help someone and encourage them to help themselves.”

What is your favorite tool to use?

“Dry needling is the single best passive technique that can quickly decrease pain and improve function.”

Fun Fact:

He has a 4th degree black belt and worked as a fight scene coordinator in a few movies.
