Sarah Hilliard, PT, DPT

Surprisingly, physical therapy was not Sarah Hilliard’s first career.

She graduated from LSU with degrees in Business Information Systems and Decision Sciences as well as Entrepreneurship, and began her career at a management consulting firm before realizing she wanted to build relationships with people and not data.

Returning to school, Sarah completed additional prerequisite courses and was accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, right here in Baton Rouge. In that time Sarah achieved a 4.0 GPA while ALSO starting a family with her husband. They are the proud parents of 2 girls, ages 1 and 3!

Sarah is dry needling certified and has developed subspecialties in neurological disorders and geriatrics, in addition to orthopedic training. She is known for keeping patients moving, for innovative, dynamic treatment sessions and for all the right reasons. She loves building relationships and making a difference in patient lives.

Hobbies?

“I love sand volleyball, reading, and snow skiing, but most of my spare time is spent having fun with my children!”

Funniest or worst work story?

“While working at Dillard’s Department Store in college, I broke a front tooth when pulling too hard on a mannequin's arm, it came off, and hit me right in the face!

Dog or Cat Person?

“Daisy and Izzy, a Goldendoodle and a Pittie-mix, would tell you I’m definitely a dog person!”
