Ryan Jones, PT, DPT, CSCS, OCS
Ryan Jones, PT, DPT, CSCS, OCS is originally from Monroe, Louisiana. He moved to New Orleans to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at LSU Health, NoLA while his wife attended LSU Health school of medicine. Now living in Baton Rouge, they're excited to be closer to her family as she begins her pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
Ryan brings a strong background in outpatient orthopedics. He recently earned the distinction of Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). The OCS credential is awarded to physical therapists who demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and expertise in orthopedic physical therapy through rigorous examination and specialized patient care experience. Fewer than 5% of licensed physical therapists nationwide hold this prestigious certification.
Ryan also has a NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) distinction! This certification proves you possess an elite, evidence-based foundation in sports performance that enhances clinical care. With his love of sports and helping patients achieve the best results through expert guidance and treatment, Ryan also sees clients at our Elevate Fitness and Strength Studio. This one-on-one concierge service provides performance based individualized strength and conditioning.
Like all of our physical therapists, Ryan is also Dry Needling Certified.
Why PT?
Ryan is deeply motivated by helping people return to the activities they love—whether that’s lifting weights without pain, walking comfortably, or playing with their kids or grandkids. His passion lies in empowering patients to feel more in control of their bodies and confident in their movement, especially after setbacks or injuries.
Fun Facts:
Ryan walked on to the ULM college football team as a punter his freshman year, played for a full season, before shifting his focus toward physical therapy school.
After settling into their new Baton Rouge home, Ryan and his wife adopted an adorable kitten with jet black fur and tiny white feet—naturally, they named him Boots!
Fun Times:
Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys spending weekends with family, usually centered around sports—especially football season. Whether he’s grilling at home or tailgating at an LSU or Saints game, quality time with loved ones- sports is his perfect weekend! He's also an avid golfer and always up for a game with friends.
Ryan’s passion for movement, strength training, his clinical background, dedication to education, and love for helping others make him a fantastic addition to our team!
