Traci Smith, OTR, Pelvic Health Specialist
With her practical and fun approach to life and patients, Traci is known as a great communicator! She is a native of Clinton, MS and attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, obtaining a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1994. With over 25 years of experience in mostly hospital-based settings seeing every imaginable presentation of diagnosis, she is uniquely qualified for the specialized study and training for an expertise in pelvic health therapy. In addition to many courses for bladder, bowel, and breathing dysfunction, she is trained in use of biofeedback for the pelvic floor musculature, the “Beyond Kegels” methodology of Janet Hulme, and has completed Level 1 manual evaluation and therapy with Herman and Wallace. Traci’s skill set and knowledge gained from vast experience has set her apart in this field.
Fun Fact: In Traci's spare time, she enjoys boating on the Louisiana rivers and camping with her family in this beautiful state in which we live.
