Lacey Herron, PT, DPT
With a fantastic sense of humor and ready smile, Lacey keeps patient visits interactive and fun while simultaneously and seriously addressing patient needs! She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Human Movement Science from LSU in 2005. She later attended LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009. Lacey lived in Houston for 7 years, working as a Regional Director of several outpatient physical therapy clinics before returning home. After working a few years in home health she “missed the clinic” and joined the Brown Rogers Physical Therapy team! Lacey is certified in manual therapy of the shoulder and cervicothoracic junction/TOS through IAOM, is certified in ASTYM, and is certified to perform FCE’s. She completed Functional Dry Needling, /TPDN 1 and 2 through Kinetacore and the American Association of Spinal Manipulation.
“I’ve always gravitated to the outpatient setting, probably because I was a tech at a small clinic for all 4 years of college. I love teamwork and it’s a fun atmosphere that patients contribute to as much as therapists, in fact, it’s because patients are motivated to get better and they meet me in this journey at 50% or more. I love being challenged and combining up with individualized plans of care for each unique patient.”
Fun Fact: In Lacey’s spare time, she enjoys fishing, LSU football, and the beach!
